A 63-year-old from Ballwin, Missouri, is seriously injured when the bass boat he was operating slammed into a breakwater near the one-milemark of the Osage Arm. The highway patrol report indicates that it happened shortly before 1:30 Sunday morning. The operator of the bass boat, Kurt Massie, was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
