An early morning blaze yesterday displaced a family on Easter. Columbia firefighters were called to 1013 Crump Lane just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday. There, they found smoke coming from the residence, and flames were showing from a window. The couple got out safely. Investigators are not sure what started the blaze. Damage is estimated at $50,000.
