A former School of the Osage teacher accused of two counts of sexual contact with a student will be back in court next month. Mark Edwards was scheduled for an arraignment on Tuesday but, according to court documents, no information had been filed when his attorney appeared for the hearing. The arraignment has now been rescheduled for August 14th. A request for discovery has also been filed. Edwards is also facing charges of third-degree child molestation and statutory sodomy – deviate sexual intercourse. Both of those charges involve a child under the age of 14.
