A man was killed Saturday night when his car ran off the road and hit a tree. The victim was identified as 59-year-old Bobby McCarthy of Edwards, Missouri.
The Highway Patrol indicates that he was not wearing a seat belt when his ’99 Buick LeSabre went off the road on Lick Creek Road, hit a tree and crashed near Route FF.
The accident occurred at about 10:30pm.
