A popular Mexican restaurant in Camdenton caught fire late last week but they’re already back to business as usual. A fire was started in the air conditioning system of El Caporal Friday evening. The Mid County Fire Protection District responded to the call and was able to contain the fire, keeping all of the fire damage inside of the air conditioning unit. There were no injuries reported and, after conducting minor clean up and ventilating, the restaurant was able to reopen Saturday.
