A Versailles area man charged with a class-A felony count of first-degree assault is scheduled to be in a Miller County courtroom Tuesday morning seeking to have his bond conditions modified. Enoch Gill, who goes by the name “Spike,” was charged back in June with the assault after, allegedly, getting into an altercation and seriously injuring the victim at a barber shop in Eldon, continuing to beat the man even after he was unresponsive. A motion was filed last month on behalf of Gill, who is free on a $150-thousand bond, seeking to remove the GPS requirement from the bond conditions. The motion hearing is set for Tuesday morning in Tuscumbia. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for January 29th while the jury trial is, currently, scheduled for early June, 2019.
