A 52-year-old from Eldon faces charges after being picked up Monday afternoon by the highway patrol. According to documents filed by the Miller County Courthouse, Craig Marriot is charged with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and resisting arrest by creating a substantial risk of serious injury or death, both felonies. Marriot also faces a paraphernalia charge and traffic offenses. He was taken to the Miller County Jail where bond was set at $35-thousand.
