An Eldon man is accused of exhibiting a weapon and fleeing from authorities. John M. Melton is facing two felonies and a pair of misdemeanors following an arrest by the Miller County Sheriff’s Office. In addition to the exhibiting charge, he was also charged with a felony for resisting arrest by fleeing, causing a substantial risk of injury or death. The misdemeanor charges filed against Melton are for fourth-degree assault including a special victim specification.
