A 35-year-old from Eldon faces several charges after being picked up late Thursday morning by the highway patrol. All totaled, according to the highway patrol report, Matthew Werner Carter faces eleven counts including, at least, seven warrants for failing to appear in court. Charges against Carter include: three felony counts of possessing methamphetamine, felony receiving stolen property and felony non-support. The charges are scattered about in Camden, Miller and Maries Counties along with a municipal warrant out of the City of Lake Ozark. Carter was booked into the Miller County Jail and is being held without bond.
