The Missouri Court of Appeals says an Eldon man will stay behind bars. The order was handed down on Monday after 53-year old Eddie Boyd tried to appeal his 25 year prison sentence for domestic violence. He was convicted in Miller County Court after beating his wife in February of 2010. She had broken ribs along with other bruises and contusions. According to Missouri law, Boyd will stay in custody until he turns 70 when he will be eligible for parole.
