Eldon Man Was Allegedly Drunk When Clocked Doing 100+MPH

Traffic stops and DWI arrests don’t always make the press, but when there are some extreme details associated with them, you can bet they’ll be reported on. That’s the case with an Eldon man who was arrested Wednesday night. 42-year old Zane Bunch was stopped shortly after 9:30 p.m. after the Highway Patrol allegedly clocked him doing 107 miles per hour. That was 37 mph over the posted 70 mph speed limit. When they stopped Bunch, they determined that appeared to be driving while impaired. He’s facing charges for speeding and DWI and was released after processing.
