Several people accused in a burglary in the Horseshoe Bend area are facing charges.

And the Camden County Sheriff’s Office says communication with the Eldon Police Department is why.

Captain Christ Twitchel says deputies were called to Point Cherokee Circle on report of the burglary, but he thinks Eldon police may have also heard the call and pulled over the suspects on the road.

Over 3-thousand dollars worth of stolen items were returned to owners and Captain Twitchel says suspected heroin and cocaine were also found.

Twitchel also says some pf the people arrested had outstanding warrants.

On 11/03/2020 deputies responded to the area of Point Cherokee Circle in the Horseshoe Bend area reference a burglary. During a joint investigation with the Eldon Police Department, four subjects were arrested that were responsible for the burglary. Approximately $3300.00 worth of stolen property was located and returned to the owners. Also, suspected heroin and cocaine were seized. Several of the individuals arrested had outstanding warrants. These subjects were placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges. The investigation continues and more charges are expected.
