The Eldon School district is mourning the passing of one of their own. Sixth-grade career center teacher Jerry Barsby, very well-liked in the district and the community, was critically injured last week while working underneath his vehicle when the jack broke. Mister Barsby was taken off life support over the weekend before passing. Eldon R-1 officials say counselors and therapists will be on hand in the coming days to help students and other staff members. Mister Barsby was 35-years-old.
