The city of Eldon is ready to go for 2015. The Board of aldermen recently passed their budget setting up what they expect to accomplish for the New Year. Some of the items expected to get worked on for this year include improving the city’s water and wastewater systems, adding sidewalks and trails as well as changes at the parks, athletic facilities and work to be done at the airport. Newly hired city administrator David Mitchem says that they are projecting sales tax revenue to stay the same for this year. The city is also planning to replace some out of date systems though a grant application that could be used for it and a few other projects if approved.
