An Eldon woman facing drug-related charges was allegedly hiding used syringes in her kids’ video game cases. Eldon Police were called when Shannon Wazir realized her two kids had been taken out of the home. Her husband said he knew where the kids were, and that they were safe. He said they didn’t want to come home because they saw their mom with a needle in her arm. After receiving permission to search the home, police found a used syringe inside a video game case. The needle tested positive methamphetamine. The police allege they found at least two syringes and multiple needles accessible by the children. The 38-year old Wazir is charged with possession of a controlled substance and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs.
