A resident of Climax Springs R-IV School District has filed complaints against the current board with the Missouri Ethics Commission. Bill Holder’s accusing the board of two violations of a rule that bars public funds expenditure by a political subdivision officer or employee for campaigning. In one complaint, Holder claims the Community Improvement Project Campaign Committee, which campaigned for the school’s bond issue on last April’s election, reimbursed the school $865 for postage and printed material in May. By the way, the bond issue was defeated.
