Humid and hot conditions will continue into the weekend. With the temperatures predicted above 100 the National Weather Service says a potentially dangerous public health situation could develop over the next couple of days. Melissa Hunter is the nursing manager at Lake Regional Hospital. She says there have been no major heat related incidents at the E.R. but the highest potential for danger could be this weekend.

The excessive heat warning is set to last until saturday night.
