Lake Ozark police have arrested a man for impersonating a police officer. 24-year-old Keith Butler allegedly told staff at the Quality Inn on Bagnell Dam Boulevard he was a federal agent on a undercover assignment to arrest a member of rapper Nelly’s crew. Butler later claimed he was a St. Louis police officer. He had a fake badge and fake handcuffs. Lake Ozark police say Butler had a previous arrest for impersonating a police officer and is on probation for credit card theft. He’s currently being held in the Miller Country Jail awaiting formal charges.
