Fake COVID 19 Test Kits Are Spreading Across The US

Buyer beware…if you come across a chance to purchase a home kit to test for COVID-19, chances are it may be a fraud trying to take you for some quick cash…that’s the word according to a statement issued by the Food and Drug Administration which reports that unauthorized test kits are being marketed in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The FDA also says that the fraudulent tests can cause serious health risks by keeping people potentially affected from seeking needed medical treatment.

The are now stepping up efforts at ports of entry to minimize fraudulent products crossing into the country.

The public is encouraged to report any likely fraudulent test kits to the FDA or local law enforcement.
