If the lake area seemed a little busier than usual the last few days, there’s a good reason for it. More than one-thousand members of the Missouri Farm Bureau converged on Osage Beach and, specifically, Margaritaville Lake Resort, for the orginaization’s 105th annual meeting. The three-day event began on Sunday with a panel discussion “From Label to Table” followed by a banquet and the ambassador program. Various sessions continued on Monday with the list of guest speakers including Governor Mike Parson, Senator Roy Blunt and Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe. Attention on the closing day turned to voting on farm bureau policy positions and electing a vice-president and board members.
