The M-U Extension Office of Camden County invites cell phone users to take a new tour featuring local farmer’s markets. “Farm Fresh in the Ozarks,” according to Community Development Specialist Michelle Kroll, currently includes eight different stops stretching across seven different counties starting in Lake Ozark and ending in Lebanon. The counties include Camden, Miller, Dallas, Hickory, Greene, Laclede and Polk. The goals of the new app are to promote buying locally grown produce and a healthier lifestyle. Across the U-S from 2008-2014, the total number of farmers markets increased by 76 percent.
