Areas of 34 states damaged by natural disasters will get federal money for repairs. The U.S. Department of Transportation announced the release of more than $705 million on Tuesday. The money will go for road and bridge repairs. Missouri is included on the list. Over $352,000 is allocated for repairs from severe storms and flooding in April of 2017. Damaged areas on federal lands in the state will receive extensive funding, as well, bringing Missouri’s total allocation to more than $4.6 million.
