A 36-year-old from Camdenton faces two felony counts of assault and one felony for leaving the scene of an accident after an alleged road rage incident which occurred in the Climax Springs area on Sunday. Captain Chris Twitchel says deputies responded after receiving a report of a male subject ramming another vehicle causing it to leave the roadway and strike a tree. The victim told deputies that the suspect, identified as Nathan Hammond, had been following them for several miles attempting more than once to run them off the road. After fleeing from the scene, Hammond was later taken into custody from a residence and booked into the Camden County Jail. He is currently free after posting a $100-thousand bond.
