FEMA has provided an update on the amount of funding provided to victims of severe weather across Missouri. So far, 767 households have received individual assistance grants totaling $3.4 million. That includes 25 households in Miller County approved for $125,000. That funding covers reimbursement for temporary housing, rental assistance, home repairs, and other living expenses not covered by insurance. In the meantime, the Disaster Recovery Center remains open in Jefferson City. FEMA says there’s not currently a firm date set for when the center will close, but that usually takes place when the number of visitors drops below 10 per day.
