Filing Opens for April 2014 Election in Osage Beach

With the April election about four months away, candidates are starting to make decisions about whether or not to run for office or to run again.  In Osage Beach, Mayor Penny Lyons, Ward One Alderman Kevin Rucker and Ward Three Alderman Fred Catcott all filed for reelection on Tuesday.   Ward Two Alderman Michelle Myler also filed.  She is finishing out the term for Lois Farmer who resigned in September.  Also filing in that race was Phyllis Marose.  City officials say no one has filed at this time for the office of city collector.  Tuesday was the first day that candidates could file for the April election.  Candidates have until January 21st to file for the municipal election on April 8th.
