A cell phone tower built at Ha Ha Tonka State Park could be activated at any time. The application was approved by the Camden County Planning and Zoning Commission last week, with the condition that the Board of Adjustment approved the variance to the setback requirements. The board unanimously approved that variance Wednesday night. Planning and Zoning Administrator Kim Willey says the stop work order was taken down Thursday morning and now it’s in AT&T’s hands.
The stop work order was put in place due to a dispute with the Department of Natural Resources over who owned the property.
