No one is injured, but a Camdenton family loses everything they own in a fire. The Mid County Fire District says the blaze broke out Friday afternoon at a residence on Highland Glenn Court. A person in the home found a couch and a wall behind the couch on fire. By the time crews arrived, more than half of the house was on fire. Fire fighters from Camdenton and Osage Beach helped Mid County crews put out the flames. The home was a total loss. Authorities say the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The family lost everything including recently purchased Christmas presents. The family did not have renters insurance. Anyone wishing to help the family is asked to contact the American Red Cross.
