Fire Destroys Rocky Mount Home – No One Injured

A fire destroys a home in Rocky Mount.

According to the Rocky Mount Fire District, the house located off Knox Road at the 4 Mile Marker of the Main Channel was deemed a total loss.

Fire officials say they battled the flames until 3 AM and came back later the next day to make sure the fire was completed extinguished.

The house was unoccupied at the time and the cause of the fire is now under investigation.
