Fire In Rural Laclede County Being Ruled Suspicious

A fire at a rural Laclede county mobile home is being ruled suspicious by the state fire marshal’s office.

Officials say it happened Wednesday night around 7:30PM.

Firefighters went to the scene at MM and Grindstone road, finding heavy smoke coming from the rear of the structure near a bedroom window.

There was no one at home at the time of the fire and crews were able to bring it under control in just under 2 hours.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
