A firearms safety and owners’ rights presentation’s being held tomorrow night at 6 at the Village of Four Seasons Town Hall. The program, which involves the Camden County Sheriff’s Department, is the work of Horseshoe Bend resident Ranita Jones. She says she’s trying to create a disaster/emergency preparedness program for Bend residents. The presentation is open to all residents of Horseshoe Bend. Jones says with the geographic layout of Horseshoe Bend, residents will end up depending on each other in the event of an emergency or disaster, which is why the presentation’s important.
