Dorhauer also says, when it comes to older homes, using something like a leaf blower for cleaning lint vents is not a good idea and, when in doubt, seek help from someone who knows what they are doing…
Lint fires can actually cause more damage than some other types of fires because they often burn longer before even being detected.
