Food Stamps Call Center Hours Extended

As the unemployment rises throughout Missouri due to COVID 19 closures and layoffs, so does the need for food assistance.

That’s why officials with the Missouri Department of Social Services say they’re boosting their staff to keep up with the increased demand.

Starting today, the Food Stamps (SNAP) Call Center will begin operating 7 days a week temporarily.

The new hours include Monday-Friday from 6AM to 6:30PM, Saturdays from 8AM to 5PM and Sundays from 10AM to 3PM.

To keep things simple, all Food Stamps interviews have also been temporarily suspended to allow for faster processing and assistance for Missouri residents.
