A former lake area doctor accused of sex crimes involving a young family member is due in court this week ahead of a trial that has been postponed several times. George Koch is accused of five charges: first-degree rape or attempted rape, first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, incest, second-degree statutory rape, and second-degree statutory sodomy. The charges stem from an alleged incident dating back to April of 2017. Koch has a pre-trial conference scheduled for January 9th. His trial date is currently set for February 19th.
