A former Camdenton city police officer and Camden County deputy accused of several felony sex-related charges involving female minors will now have his two local cases heard in Morgan County. 39-year-old Leonard Jerome Wilson appeared in court this week after a writ was filed by special prosecutor Dustin Dunklee. During the hearing, the attorney for Wilson waived a formal reading of the indictments on both cases and was granted the change of venue. Wilson is charged with two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of child molestation from an incident which, allegedly, happened in late April of 2017 along with one count each of possessing child porn, child molestation, furnishing or attempting to furnish porn to a minor and stalking from incidents which, allegedly, happened in early June of 2017. Wilson also faces a federal indictment for possessing child porn and is being held without bond on that charge. His next scheduled court date for the two local cases is set for October 29th.
