Former Teacher Scheduled for Preliminary Hearing Tuesday

 

A former School of the Osage teacher accused of inappropriate sexual contact with a student is scheduled to be in court tomorrow.  There’s a pre-trial conference scheduled for Mark Edwards, who faces two counts of sexual contact with a student, one charge of child molestation, and one count of statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy deviate sexual intercourse.  The charges allege that the victim or victims are under the age of 14.  At Tuesday’s hearing the prosecution has a motion pending to add additional witnesses that may be called at trial.  Edwards is still in custody on a $300,000 bond.
