Fort Leonard Wood Officials Announce 70 New Cases Of COVID 19

More than 70 people at Fort Leonard Wood have tested positive for COVID 19

It comes after the base tested more than 500 soldiers and trainees over the past two days.

Officials say the majority of the cases are asymptomatic and so far, no one has been hospitalized.

Across the Lake area the number of active COVID cases remains at 6.

Out of 62 cases, 55 people have recovered, 2 remain hospitalized and 1 person has died.
