Four people died in traffic crashes on Missouri highways over the Memorial Day weekend. Last year, six people were killed during the three-day weekend. There were no boating fatalities, according to to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, however, Troopers investigated eight boating crashes and Troopers made 23 arrests or Boating While Intoxicated. The one drowning over the Memorial Day weekend holiday occurred on Monday, in the Lake of the Ozarks. Timothy L. Miller, 39, of St. Louis drowned while swimming off a dock at the 21 1/2 mile-mark in Salt Hollow Cove in Camden County.
