Four Hurt in Wrecks in Morgan, Dallas Counties

Two people are injured as a result of a crash in Morgan County. The accident happened early Sunday morning, just before 4:30. A vehicle driven by 21-year old Dakota Eden of Cole Camp went off the right side of state highway 135, hitting a sign and a utility pole before overturning. Eden was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered moderate injuries. He was cited for DWI, careless & imprudent driving, and a seatbelt violation. A 19-year old girl from Moreau who was riding in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt and received only minor injuries.

 

A Climax Springs man is among two people injured in a two-vehicle accident over the weekend on Highway-65, north of Buffalo, in Dallas County. The highway patrol says it happened early Saturday evening when the vehicles driven by a 20-year-old from Fair Grove and 61-year-old Stephen Callan, of Climax Springs, struck each other head-on. Suffering moderate injuries were Callan and a 14-year-old boy from Urbana. Both were wearing seat belts at the time and were taken to area hospitals.
