The National Weather Service and area first responders often rely on weather spotters to keep track of severe and potentially dangerous storms. If you’re interested in becoming an extra set of eyes on the ground, there’s a class coming up that can help get you started. The National Weather Service and Camden County Emergency Management Agency will be hosting a weather spotters class October 22nd. You’ll learn why weather spotting is important, what you should report, how to position yourself to safely gather important and helpful storm data, and more. The meeting begins at 6pm and is free to anyone interested. If you want more details or to register for the class, call 346-7108.
