Plans have been announced for the 18th annual Polar Plunge. Brave men and women from around the Lake will don costumes and swimsuits and run into the freezing waters at Public Beach Number 2 on February 23rd. Their “reason for freezin’?” To raise money for Special IOlympics Missouri. Last February, 615 people jumped into the Lake, raising $213,000. This year’s goal is 620 Plungers and $246,000.
