Over 600 people will jump in the lake tomorrow – to raise money for Special Olympics Missouri, by taking part in the 17th annual Polar Plunge. Organizer Crystal Chalk says the activities at Public Beach No.2 at Lake of the Ozarks State Park actually get underway this afternoon, with the Super Plunge:
Osage Beach Police Chief Todd Davis, and one of his lieutenants, are among this year’s Super Plungers:
Last year’s event raised over $200,000.
