Over 100 transportation projects identified, statewide, are put on the back burner after the Department of Transportation is forced to put a halt to the Missouri Moves Cost Share Program. The program had been approved and set up by the General Assembly with MoDOT to administer at least 20-million of the 70-million dollars worth of work.
MoDOT Central District Engineer Bob Lynch goes onto say the $20-million approved for the program was a one-year deal and any hopes of the projects being finalized and selected will depend on whether the funding can be restored quick enough.
