Gala Of Trees Raises Over $22,000 For Local Charities

Three Lake Area non-profits are getting money from the GALA of Trees event held at Wobbly Boots in Osage Beach.

Christy Janssen with the GALA of Trees tells KRMS News the three charities will each get 68-hundred dollars this year.

Some of those donations are going to places like Kid’s Harbor.

The Lake Ozark Rotary Noon Club will be using its share to support Candy Land.

Kevin Wood tells KRMS News the locations for the toy drive will be at Stone Crest Mall in Osage Beach.

Dozens of Christmas trees and wreaths were silent auctioned at Wobbly Boots before Thanksgiving.

The Christmas decorations were made by Lake Area businesses and organizations.
