The national average stood at $2.96 a gallon as of 5:30 this morning. Across Missouri, the average price per gallon is $2.72, up three cents from last week and 23 cents over the last month. At this time last year, Missouri drivers were paying an average of $2.15 per gallon. In the lake area, you can expect to pay an average of $2.70 in Camden and Morgan counties. You can save about a penny in Miller County.
