While the numbers of COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the country, gasoline prices continue to drop. Here in the lake area, prices are ranging from $1.73 per gallon for regular unleaded in Osage Beach to around $1.90 per gallon on the west side. The statewide average, according to the Triple-A’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report, is $1.83 per gallon compared to the nationwide average of $2.09 per gallon. Oklahoma has the cheapest petro coming in with an average price of $1.68 per gallon while Hawaii and California are on the other end of the spectrum with average prices still well over $3.00 per gallon.
