The search for an armed robbery suspect in Camden County is over. As reported first by KRMS, the suspect who is believed to have robbed the pharmacy at Gerbes Supermarket shot himself Monday night as authorities were attempting to execute a search warrant at a property on Upper Prairie Road. The 28-year old man was taken to Lake Regional and transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in critical condition. As the injuries are the result of an attempted suicide, KRMS will not release the man’s name unless he recovers and criminal charges are filed.

Multiple sources have confirmed to KRMS News that the suspect who is believed to have robbed the pharmacy at Gerbes Supermarket shot himself last night as authorities were attempting to execute a search warrant. The suspect’s condition has not been released. We’ll have more information when it becomes officially available.
