Contract negotiations are on-going between the Gravois Fire Protection District and the firefighters union. At this week’s district meeting fire Chief Ed Hancock reported there were a few articles that needed to be changed and they have been submitted to union representatives. Chief Hancock expects to meet with them soon to discuss the changes and sign the contract. In other business, the board was introduced to Lee Wilson Jr. Who has announced his plans to run for the open Board of Director’s seat that is coming up for a vote in the April Municipal Elections. Wilson is running for the seat that will be vacated by retiring Board Member Leroy Hayes.
