An early-morning accident involving a golf cart sends four people to the emergency room…one with serious injuries. The highway patrol report indicates that it happened around 2:00 Saturday morning along Highly Drive, just east of Raindrop Drive, in Camden County. The golf cart, operated by 25-year-old Grace Reese of Platte City, was going down the hill without lights on when she lost control sending the golf cart out of control before it overturned. Reese escaped injury while four occupants were injured including 25-year-old Olivia Taphorn of Kansas City. She suffered serious injuries…the other three suffered minor-to-moderate injuries. All four were taken to Lake Regional. Also according to the highway patrol, Reese faces several pending charges in connection to the incident including DWI-alcohol causing serious physical injury.
