Governor Mike Parson calling on all charter and private schools in Missouri to shut down for the remainder of this school year.
The Governor made the announcement at his Thursday press conference.
He says work will be done to figure out how graduating seniors can walk down the aisle to get their diplomas at some point.
Dr. Margie Vandeven with the Missouri Department of Education says the continued education that is happening calls on some creativity.
Vandeven concedes questions still remain regarding summer school, graduation and the re-entry into a new school year after the summer.
