Governor Mike Parson has declared a state of emergency as a result of recent severe weather and flooding. The declaration came Tuesday afternoon. Across the state there has been more flooding, reports of tornadoes, straight-line wind damages, trees downed (some into homes and vehicles) and hail damages. Bagnell Dam opened up the floodgates yesterday in order to pump at 50,000 cfs. The Missouri and Mississippi Rivers are both expected to continue to rise in the coming days.
